Ranchi, Sept 25: Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) acting Chairman Prashant Kumar today said that the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exams, conducted on September 21-22, have been free from malpractice.

Speaking to reporters, Kumar said, for the first time, digital coding of question papers was done in the examination.

“A QR code was installed on the upper part of every question paper. Strong arrangements were made to prevent any kind of malpractice,” he pointed out.

Kumar further said 9217 jammers and 15236 CCTV cameras were installed in the examination centres.

Answers to be released tomorrow

Prashant Kumar said that the answers to the question paper will be released on September 26. “Scanning of the OMR sheet will be started in the commission’s office itself from Thursday under CCTV surveillance. The commission will declare the result as soon as possible,” he added.

Notably, the applications of 6,39,900 candidates were found valid, of which 3,04,769 appeared in the examination.
