Ranchi, Sept 27: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) today formed a three-member committee after Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to investigate the complaints received in the CGL (Combined Graduate Level) examination.
The committee, headed by JSSC Secretary Sudhir Kumar Gupta, has Joint Secretary Madhumita Kumari and Examination Controller Arvind Kumar Lal as members.
The committee has been asked to submit its report within a week.
Notably, the Governor, in his letter to Soren, said the probe was necessary so that there is no question mark on the credibility of the commission along with this examination.
In the letter sent by the Governor, the information given by the student organisations and students regarding the examination and the facts found were also attached.
Candidates alleged paper leak
Notably, many student organisations have complained about irregularities in the CGL examination held on September 21-22. Students have said that the answers to the questions were available to many candidates even before the start of the first shift examination on September 22. This was also proved after the end of the examination.

Similarly, the question of Reasoning in SSC CGL 2019 and the question of Computer from JBAPS RRC 2023 and about 120 questions from Paper 1 UPSC C Set 2019 have been asked again. In many places, the packets of question papers were found already opened. The students demanded the cancellation of the examination and an investigation by CBI.
JSSC Chairman challenged
After the allegations of students and organisations, the Chairman of JSSC held a press conference and said that if the allegation is true then the examination will be cancelled. The Chairman said that the application of 6,39,900 candidates was found valid, of which 3,04769 candidates appeared in the examination. “The examination has been completely malpractice-free and peaceful,” he added.
The chairman said that 20 lakh answer sheets were printed for 6.39 lakh candidates. The seal of some of them may be open, but the paper has not been leaked. “It was opened in front of the candidates in the examination hall,” he added.
