New Delhi, Nov 18: Former Delhi minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Kailash Gahlot joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today.
A day after leaving his party, Gahlot became a member of the BJP in the presence of BJP leaders Manohar Lal Khattar, Jay Panda, Dushyant Gautam, and Harsh Malhotra at the BJP headquarters.
Kailash Gahlot cited disagreements with the policies and functioning of the Aam Aadmi Party as the reason for his departure. He mentioned that he had written a letter to Arvind Kejriwal raising concerns about internal politics within the party, allegations of corruption, and the policies of the Delhi government. Gahlot specifically criticized the Delhi government’s bungalow (Sheeshmahal) controversy, calling it shameful.
