BJP candidate Kamlesh Singh is running for the Hussainabad assembly seat with a strong commitment to advancing the region’s development. Known for his experience and dedication, Singh has identified five crucial priorities to address Hussainabad’s key challenges and uplift the area. In an exclusive interview with Swami Divyagyan, he shares his comprehensive vision for Hussainabad’s progress and the specific areas he intends to focus on if elected as MLA.
Question: What will be your main priorities if elected as the MLA for Hussainabad?
Kamlesh Singh: “To ensure holistic development in Hussainabad, I have set five primary priorities, focusing on improving irrigation, upgrading health and education, granting district status, and strengthening law and order. I believe that progress in these areas will not only transform people’s lives but also connect the region to mainstream development.”
Question: What specific steps will you take to improve irrigation in the region?
Kamlesh Singh: “We have already extended irrigation infrastructure under the railway line, which has benefited many farmers. However, several higher-elevation areas remain without irrigation access, so we plan to expand this lift irrigation project to reach those regions as well. Our goal is to ensure that every farmer in Hussainabad has access to regular irrigation with the push of a button, helping make every field fertile and productive. This initiative will support local agriculture and empower farmers to improve their crop yields and livelihoods.”
Question: What’s the purpose of granting district status to Hussainabad, and how will it benefit the region?
Kamlesh Singh: “One of my top priorities is to secure district status for Hussainabad. This change would open up new development opportunities, streamline administration, and make essential services more accessible for the residents. With district status, Hussainabad would benefit from improved infrastructure and increased government support, which will foster local growth. Administrative services will be closer to home, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for basic tasks, and will create jobs and development opportunities for the people here.”
Question: What are your plans for healthcare improvements, and how will they impact the people?
Kamlesh Singh: “Healthcare is one of our core priorities. We aim to establish modern hospitals and health centres throughout Hussainabad and upgrade the existing facilities to ensure that every citizen has access to quality healthcare. With well-equipped health centres, we’ll be able to address the medical needs of rural areas and provide regular health camps. My objective is for Hussainabad to have a healthcare system that residents can rely on, one that offers timely care and specialized services close to home.”
Question: How do you plan to address the rise in crime and Naxal activities in Hussainabad?
Kamlesh Singh: “Under the current state administration, crime and Naxal activities have increased, affecting the peace and safety of the region. My priority is to curb these criminal activities by strengthening law enforcement and activating special security forces where needed. We will work with local authorities to ensure that security is restored and that residents feel safe in their communities. Our goal is to eliminate these threats and bring about a stable, peaceful environment in Hussainabad, fostering a secure atmosphere that allows families and businesses to thrive.”
Question: How do you envision improving the education system in Hussainabad?
Kamlesh Singh: “Providing high-quality education is a major part of my vision for Hussainabad. We aim to bring renowned schools, such as Delhi Public School (DPS), to this region, ensuring that children here have access to the best possible education within their community. In addition to supporting private institutions, we will work to improve government schools so that every child has the opportunity to succeed. Education is the foundation of development, and a stronger educational system in Hussainabad means better opportunities and a brighter future for our youth.”
