Mumbai, March 9: Kartik Aaryan is gearing up to reprise his role as the renowned ‘Rooh Baba’ in the highly anticipated horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, and filming for the movie has officially begun.

Before starting the shooting Kartik Aaryan posted a photo on Instagram where he is seen seeking blessings from God.

In his Instagram post, he captioned the photo, “Starting The Biggest Film Of My Career Today #Shubharambh #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”

Vidya Balan was recently welcomed aboard by the creators of the film. She portrayed the character of Manjulika in the 2007 psychological horror-comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, and is poised to make a comeback to the franchise.

Kartik Aaryan also extended a warm welcome to Vidya for joining the project.

“And its happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar,” Kartik wrote.

Kartik also shared an edited video that incorporated visuals of Kartik from the second part with Vidya’s well-known Manjulika from the first segment.

Anees Bazmee, who directed the second instalment, will also be at the helm of the third instalment. The first part was directed by Priyadarshan.

Kartik co-starred with Tabu and Kiara Advani in the second instalment.

The release of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is slated for this Diwali.
