Kharge chairs key Congress meeting on future roadmap and strategy

New Delhi, Feb 19: A crucial meeting of senior Congress officials was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the party’s national president, Mallikarjun Kharge.

The meeting began at 10:30 AM at the AICC (All India Congress Committee) headquarters Indira Bhawan which is the party’s newly established headquarters in New Delhi..

Reports suggest that discussions focused on the party’s future roadmap and organizational strategies. The meeting involved deliberations on the party’s strategy.

This meeting took place just days after a major reshuffle in the party, which saw the appointment of several new state in-charges.

The meeting was attended by several prominent leaders, including Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi, General Secretary (Organisation) K. C. Venugopal, General Secretary in-charge of Communications Jairam Ramesh, Lok Sabha MP Kumari Selja, and Working Committee’s permanent invitee Ramesh Chennithala, along with state in-charges and numerous other AICC members.

Kharge emphasized the importance of accountability, stating that all leaders would be responsible for managing their respective states and their future election outcomes. He also highlighted the ongoing “Save Constitution Campaign” and mentioned that the “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Constitution” program, which was launched in Belgaum, would continue for the next year.
