Kurmi agitation forces cancellation of 25 trains in Dhanbad Rail Division

Dhanbad, Sept 20: Train services in the Dhanbad Rail Division of East Central Railway (ECR) were severely hit on Saturday as the ongoing Kudmi community agitation led to the cancellation of 25 mail and express trains.

In addition, 16 trains were diverted, and 20 others were partially terminated at different stations.

According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM) of Dhanbad Rail Division, Mohammad Iqbal, the agitation disrupted operations across major routes, forcing large-scale adjustments.
