Jamshedpur, Nov 2: A Western Disturbance passing through northern parts of the country might impact Jharkhand’s weather after the next 24 hours i.e. on Friday.
Weathermen at IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre said that the Western Disturbance would result in light rain with thundershowers at isolated places over southern and adjoining central parts of the state.
The Western Disturbance was lying as a trough in the middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above the mean sea level.
According to weathermen, cloud formation is likely to take place from Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 32.4°C was recorded at Daltonganj while the lowest minimum temperature of 17.1°C was recorded at Ranchi.
The forecast suggested mainly clear sky over Jharkhand on Saturday and Sunday.
