Even Ranchi witnessed milder winter conditions, with the maximum temperature reaching 25.9°C.

Night temperatures also remained relatively high across most districts. Jamshedpur recorded a minimum temperature of 14.8°C, while Ranchi registered 12.2°C, both above normal levels.

However, Ranchi AMFU (Kanke) recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 9.0°C, providing a brief early-morning winter chill.

No Rain, No Cold Wave

The IMD confirmed that no rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state during the past 24 hours. Weather conditions remained dry and stable.

No cold wave or dense fog was reported, ensuring smooth road and air traffic movement. Visibility remained satisfactory, with the lowest visibility of 800 metres reported at Ranchi.

Meteorologists attributed the warmer-than-usual conditions to weak winter systems and the absence of strong northerly winds, allowing temperatures to rise above seasonal norms.
