Jamshedpur, Sept 4: In a remarkable act of compassion, young Jasraj Singh from Home Pipe has donated his entire piggy bank savings of ₹6,413 to aid flood victims in Punjab.

Savings Redirected to Relief

Jasraj had spent the past year saving the amount, intending to present it as a birthday gift to his father, Charanjit Singh. However, after witnessing the devastation caused by floods in Punjab on social media, he chose instead to contribute the money towards relief efforts.

Contribution to CGPC

On Thursday, accompanied by his father, Jasraj visited the Central Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (CGPC) office in Sakchi, where he handed over the donation to CGPC President Bhagwan Singh.
“It is the duty of all of us to help Punjab and Punjabis overcome this calamity,” Jasraj said.
