Saran, July 17: Police said on Wednesday that in Dhanadih village, Saran district, Bihar, a man and his two daughters were stabbed to death by the mentally unstable lover of one of the girls.
The man’s wife was taken to the hospital in an injured state.
Saran Police reported that on Tuesday night, the two accused, Sudhanshu Kumar alias Roshan and Ankit Kumar from Rasulpur, used a sharp weapon to kill Tarakeshwar Singh alias Jhabar Singh and his two minor daughters at the latter’s home on Tuesday night.

Accused arrested within an hour
The police stated that last night they were informed via Dial 112 that three people had been murdered with a sharp weapon on the roof of Tarakeshwar Singh alias Jhabar Singh’s house in Dhanadih village, which is under the jurisdiction of Rasulpur police station.
The statements from Tarakeshwar Singh’s wife and intelligence reports led to the arrest of the suspects, Sudhanshu Kumar alias Roshan and Ankit Kumar, within an hour of the incident.
According to the police, the motive for the triple murder was a love affair between one of the deceased girls and Sudhanshu Kumar, and they retrieved the murder weapon from the crime scene.
All three bodies were dispatched to Chapra Sadar Hospital for a postmortem examination.
