Lucknow, Nov 17: Four individuals allegedly abducted and gang-raped a 12-year-old girl in Lucknow and two of the accused have been arrested, police stated on Friday.

Ashish Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East, stated, “Four men kidnapped the minor girl and took her about a kilometre away to a forest where they took turns to rape her. She was later found in an unconscious state at a short distance from her home.”

Following the incident, the mother of the victim lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against three of the accused.

The DCP was informed that the mother of the victim had also alleged in her complaint that one of the accused had been compelling her to marry off her daughter to him.

“We have also recorded the statement of the minor, who said she was kidnapped and gang-raped by four persons,” the officer added.
