Ranchi, May 15: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today said that during the tenure of the Modi government, more Alamgir Alams will be arrested. “This is just a glimpse,” he said.

While addressing a press conference here, Sarma said that the BJP needs 400 seats to strengthen the ED and CBI further. He was reacting to a query after Alamgir Alam, Rural Development Minister and the Congress legislature party leader, was arrested by the ED in the tender scam today.

BJP needs 400 for Kashi-Mathura

“Opposition parties including Congress raised the issue as to why 400 seats. The entire ecosystem is arguing that 400 will not be crossed, they do not doubt about 399. The general public will give 2 seats,” he said.

Sarma said that after getting 300 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party built a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. “This time, after crossing 400, temples will be built in Mathura and Kashi also,” he said.

400 for PoK

Sarma said that Congress has forgotten PoK. “The BJP believes that Pakistan should not have any Kashmir. Modi government has delimited seats in Kashmir. In this, provision for MLAs has also been made for PoK. There will be MLAs from there also. This time, as soon as 400 seats come, PoK will become a part of India,” he asserted.

400 for UCC

He said that a secular system is applicable in the country. “Under this, there can be no personal law in the country. So, UCC will have to be introduced. The Modi government will do this work after it gets 400 seats,” he promised.

 ‘Rahul’s constitution is from China’

The Assam CM said Rahul Gandhi still roams around with the Constitution with red cover. “The red-coloured constitution may be of China, but not of India. There is a photo of Ram- Krishna on every page of the Constitution of India,” he pointed out.

Reservation not on the basis of religion

He said that according to the Constitution, reservation is to be given to ST, SC and OBC. Reservation will be based on caste, not based on religion. Here reservation is being given to Muslims through the back door. To end the Muslim reservation, 400 seats are needed, he added.

‘Infiltration is cancer, will turn tribals into minority’

Sarma said that infiltration has been going on in Assam for the last 40 years. “Presently the Assamese have lost their identity. Assam made a mistake first. Jharkhand should not make such a mistake. If the ban had been imposed in time, Assam would not have been in this situation today. If there is no stop to infiltration in Jharkhand, then in 20 years the indigenous people here will become a minority.”

“This is not a political issue for BJP. It is a question of Jharkhand’s future. This is cancer. If this is not stopped then the natives here will be completely eaten up. He said that temples are being demolished in Assam. Hindus take away the girl,” he said.

Former state president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash, media in-charge Shivpujan Pathak, state spokesperson JB Tubid were also present on this occasion.
