Bijapur, Dec 11: Officials reported that a Naxal was killed in an encounter with security forces in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday.
Bijapur police stated that a search operation was initiated in the area after the exchange of fire.
Bijapur SP Jitendra Yadav informed that two District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel sustained injuries after a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) detonated.

“Two DRG jawans were injured in IED blast and one Naxal was killed in exchange of fire in Bijapur. Search operation is underway,” SP Jitendra Yadav stated.
