New Delhi, September 20: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a second charge sheet in the Special CBI Court in Patna against six accused individuals involved in the NEET UG 2024 question paper theft case.

The chargesheet names the Principal of Hazaribag’s Oasis School, who was designated as the City Coordinator, and the Vice-Principal, appointed as the Centre Superintendent by the NTA for overseeing the NEET UG-2024 exam.

The second charge sheet has been filed against six accused individuals: Baldev Kumar, also known as Chintu; Sunny Kumar; Ahsanul Haque, the Principal of Hazaribag’s Oasis School and City Coordinator of Hazaribagh; Md. Imtiyaz Alam, the Vice-Principal of Hazaribag’s Oasis School and Centre Superintendent; Jamaluddin, also known as Jamal, a newspaper reporter from Hazaribagh; and Aman Kumar Singh.

The investigation uncovered that Ahsanul Haque, Principal of Oasis School, conspired with Vice-Principal Md. Imtiyaz Alam, the Centre Superintendent for NEET UG 2024, and others to steal the NEET UG question paper. Both Haque, serving as the City Coordinator for Hazaribagh, and Alam played central roles in this plot.

The CBI had previously filed its first charge sheet against 13 accused individuals on August 1, 2024.

48 people have been arrested in the NEET paper leak case so far. The CBI has also uncovered the identities of the candidates who benefited from the leak and passed the information to the National Testing Agency for further action.
