Odisha raises DA by 2% for govt employees and pensioners

Bhubaneswar, April 11: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today announced a two per cent increase in dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees and a corresponding rise in temporary increase (TI) for pensioners.

As a result, their DA and TI will go up from 53 per cent to 55 per cent.

According to an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the enhanced rate will take effect retrospectively from January 1, 2025.

Employees will receive the additional DA amount as part of their April salary payment.

The decision will benefit nearly 8.5 lakh government employees and pensioners across the state.
