Ranchi, Dec 15: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that officers will go to the doorstep of people as long as he is there.
Addressing a public meeting in Khunti, during “Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar” programme in Khunti, Soren said this programme was started from this holy land of Khunti, Ulihatu, the birthplace of Birsa Munda in 2021.
“I had also said earlier that this government will solve your problems by going to every village, panchayat and panchayat and at your doorstep. Earlier, during the previous governments, no one had seen a government official, functionary or employee going to any village and solving the people’s problems,” he pointed out.
Corona epidemic
The chief minister said that as soon as our government was formed in the state, the entire world was engulfed by the Corona epidemic. “After the fog of Corona clears, the action plan made by the government for you is being bundled and reached to you by setting up camps in every village and panchayat. As long as the government is running under my leadership, government officials and personnel will be standing at your door, knocking for solutions to your problems,” he reiterated.
Foundation stone
He, on the occasion, laid the foundation stone of 76 schemes worth Rs 437 crore 48 lakh and inaugurated 27 schemes worth Rs 406 crore 20 lakh.
,Will provide financial support to daughters
Soren said that now all the family’s daughters will benefit from the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana. “Even after the 12th, the government will provide financial support to the daughters of Jharkhand in higher education. Daughters will not only get a degree but will also be able to pursue higher education including engineering, medical, law etc.”
CM asks women not to sell hadia
The chief minister said that we have won long battles because of women. “The village women have strongly supported the government during the Corona transition period. In this pandemic, they risked their life to provide free food. I feel sad that many women sell liquor (Hadia) in the market, this will take our society backwards and some people have made it a medium of organized business.”
“I would like to tell those women that the state government has brought Phulo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana for them,” he pointed out.
Abua Housing Scheme
The Chief Minister said that everyone needs food, clothing and shelter, without these it is difficult to live, but the Central Government did not approve eight lakh houses for the needy of Jharkhand.
“Now, our government is covering the qualified needy under the state-sponsored Abua Housing Scheme. This will be a three-room furnished residence. After the neglect of the Central Government, it was necessary for the State Government to ensure social security of the people here. Earlier, 11 lakh ration cards were cancelled. But our government covered 20 lakh people with green ration cards,” he maintained.
