ONGC appoints Om Prakash Sinha as Director (Exploration)

New Delhi, July 15:  Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has appointed veteran technologist Om Prakash Sinha as its new Director (Exploration), marking a major step in reinforcing the company’s upstream strategy.

Bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in exploration and reservoir management, Mr. Sinha has served ONGC in several key technical and strategic capacities. An alumnus of the Indian School of Mines (now IIT-ISM), Dhanbad, he holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering and is known for his deep involvement in multiple high-impact ONGC initiatives.

Mr. Sinha’s leadership has consistently focused on improving ONGC’s operational frameworks.
