New Delhi, July 25: Opposition members staged a protest on Friday over the Bihar Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists before the Parliament proceedings began.

The demonstration, held in front of the Gandhi statue, saw the participation of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, along with several other opposition MPs.

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla convened an all-party meeting in his chamber on Friday to end the deadlock that has persisted in Parliament for the past five days. The meeting began at 12:30 PM.

The Monsoon Session has been witnessing disruptions in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha over the ongoing voter list revision in Bihar.
