First, the remarks made by Chief Minister Hemant Soren here in Daltonganj on Friday are given below as far as verbatim possible.
“This Friday morning there came a woman MLA of a major opposition party to meet me in the circuit house. She had an 8 or 9 page petition. It had complaints and demands.”

“I felt bad. The lady MLA ought to have attended the Friday programme. Invitations were sent to the opposition party leaders too for this programme. The opposition party has no concern for such programmes which are for Dalit, Adivasi, pichhra etc.”
“Behind the ‘band kamra’ the opposition leaders are active but abstains from such pro people programme in the open. This is not fair.”
“The opposition wears the wrong glasses. Kaun sa chashma pehantay hain virodhi dal k log. Tina K chashma h tabhi to vikas nahi dikhta hain virodhi log ko.”
Now the reactions of the district president of the BJP Vijayanand Pathak here today.
Although Chief minister Hemant Soren had not taken the name of the woman MLA nor had he mentioned her constituency but the BJP knew it well for whom this diatribe of the chief minister was.

The BJP has one woman MLA in Pushpa Devi from the Chhaterpur assembly constituency in Palamu.
The BJP district unit today stood in support of its woman MLA.
It’s district president Vijayanand Pathak said, “The Chief Minister holds constitutional post. He should have shown dignity and decency to woman and woman MLA.”
“The wording of the Chief Minister Hemant Soren is below dignity. It is improper,” added Pathak.
The BJP president said, “Hemant Soren is the Chief Minister. An MLA has a right to see the chief minister for developments in the constituency. There is nothing any wrong. My MLA met the Chief Minister for her constituency. ”
“The BJP condemns such remarks about the woman MLA by Hemant Soren. This government of Hemant Soren has pushed the state into limbo. There is no development. It’s chaos everywhere. This government will not return to power again,” reiterated Pathak.
What has stung the BJP most is that CM made this meet of the woman MLA with him public and even went quoting the woman MLA that her party high command has forbidden them to attend such functions.
The remark that her party restrains them to attend such programme, made public by the CM on Friday here left the BJP back to the wall.
