The Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations at the Civil Courts have always been known for their simplicity and impact. These events are notably devoid of lengthy speeches. Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Arpit Shrivastava, remarked, “There is no tradition or practice of delivering speeches on these two occasions—the Republic Day and the Independence Day.”

After the flag hoisting, the judicial officers, led by Principal District and Sessions Judge Niraj Kumar Srivastav, proceeded to the office of the Palamu District Bar Association. There, Bar President Ramdeo Yadav also hoisted the national flag.

Interestingly, a road separates the Bench and the Bar in Daltonganj, with each institution located on opposite sides. The Bar has long been advocating for a small flyover to connect the two buildings.

Similar flag-hoisting ceremonies were also held at the Railway Judicial Magistrate Court, located on the premises of the Daltonganj railway station. On this occasion, Railway Judicial Magistrate P. Nigam hoisted the national flag.
