Jamshedpur, March 24: Jharkhand is expected to experience stable and comfortable weather over the next few days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting mostly clear and partly cloudy skies across the state.

Dry weather will prevail on March 24 and 25, followed by mainly clear skies on March 26, ensuring pleasant daytime conditions.

A slight change in weather is expected from March 27, when some parts of the state—excluding the north-eastern region—may receive light to moderate rainfall.

Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds with speeds of 30–40 kmph are also likely at isolated places.

Impact on Eastern and Central Regions

The weather pattern may continue on March 28, mainly affecting eastern and nearby central parts of Jharkhand, where similar thunderstorm activity is expected in isolated areas.

Conditions are likely to improve from March 29, with partly cloudy skies and dry weather returning across the state.

No Major Weather System Active

According to IMD, no major large-scale weather system is currently affecting Jharkhand. However, a western disturbance over Jammu and nearby regions is having a mild indirect influence on the state’s weather.

Temperature Trends
In the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across Jharkhand.

  • Highest maximum temperature: 32.0°C in Seraikela
  • Lowest minimum temperature: 11.9°C in Gumla

This indicates a moderate difference between day and night temperatures, which is typical for this time of the year.
