Betul, Nov 14: In Madhya Pradesh, where assembly elections are set for November 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Tuesday that he has witnessed “unprecedented trust and affection” for the BJP among the populace.

Speaking at a public rally in Betul, Modi added that the Congress accepted its defeat before the polls.

“Congress knows that its fake promises won’t work in front of Modi’s guarantees,” PM Modi said.

“As November 17 is nearing, Congress’ claims are getting exposed. Congress has accepted the defeat and now they’re relying on luck,” he stated.

Modi stated that some Congress leaders are “sitting at home” and don’t even feel like going out of the house. “Some of the Congress leaders are sitting at home, they don’t even feel like going out, Congress leaders don’t know what will they say to people. Congress has accepted that its fake promises won’t work in front of Modi’s guarantees” he stated.

“This election is to stop corruption and loot by Congress in Madhya Pradesh,” he said. “You know that wherever Congress comes, they bring destruction,” he added.

Modi stated that India has now achieved the status of being the world’s second-largest producer of mobile phones.

“This is the last set of my rallies for Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls because the election campaign will conclude tomorrow. Tomorrow is the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda and Jharkhand, and I will visit that state tomorrow,” he said.
