New Delhi, Jan 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed New Year wishes on Monday, expressing hopes for prosperity, peace and excellent health for everyone in 2024.

PM Modi posted on X, saying, “Wishing everyone a splendid 2024! May this year bring forth prosperity, peace and wonderful health for all.”

Many people rang in the new year with prayers and offerings at temples as the country celebrated the arrival of 2024.

On the first day of the New Year, visuals from various locations showed people swarming temples across the country to offer prayers.

Cities all around the nation ushered in the new year with joyous celebrations.
