PM Modi launches ₹7,200 cr worth projects in Bihar’s Motihari

Motihari, July 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Motihari in Bihar on Friday, where he addressed a public rally in the presence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha.

During the event, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various development projects worth ₹7,200 crore. He was given a grand welcome on stage ahead of the ceremony.

PM Modi flagged off four new Amrit Bharat trains connecting key routes: Rajendra Nagar Terminal (Patna) to New Delhi, Bapudham Motihari to Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal), Darbhanga to Lucknow (Gomti Nagar), and Malda Town to Lucknow (Gomti Nagar).

He also handed over keys of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin to 12,000 beneficiaries and released financial assistance exceeding ₹160 crore for 40,000 more beneficiaries.
