New Delhi, May 14: In the wake of a pause in Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday led a crucial security review with key ministers, marking the first Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting since the recent de-escalation with Pakistan.

Joined by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah, the Prime Minister assessed the national security landscape and India’s operational readiness.

Following this, he also chaired a meeting of the Union Cabinet to discuss broader governance matters.
