New Delhi, Sept 29: To mark the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Prime Minister Modi will release a special postage stamp and coin on October 1. The event will be held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Delhi.
The program will be attended by RSS Sarsanghchalak Dattatreya Hosabale, central ministers, RSS office-bearers, and other dignitaries.
According to sources, the coin is likely to be issued in the name of the RSS founder, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.

Reports suggest that the centenary year of RSS will officially commence with a special program in Nagpur on October 1, featuring a speech by the Sarsanghchalak. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 AM.
The RSS was founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur on the day of Vijayadashami.
The year 2025 marks its centenary celebrations. Notably, Dattatreya Hosabale has declared the centenary year as a “Year of National Awakening.”
