Jamshedpur, Sept 8: The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has officially announced the formation of its Jamshedpur Chapter. The Bengaluru-based headquarters issued the notification, while PRCI East Zone Director, Prabhat Sharma, shared the details through a press release.

Senior journalist Sanjay Mishra has been appointed as the President of the newly formed Jamshedpur Chapter.

Following the announcement, a significant meeting of PRCI’s Jamshedpur Chapter was held at United Club. The session began with a welcome address by President Sanjay Mishra and witnessed active participation from professionals representing the media and corporate sectors.

During the meeting, the executive body of the Jamshedpur Chapter was constituted, with the following office-bearers taking charge- President: Sanjay Mishra, Senior Journalist, Executive President: Prashant Singh Putul, Senior Journalist, General Secretary: Parvinder Bhatia, Senior Journalist, Vice President: Sukanya Das, Tata Steel UISL and Treasurer: Bharat Vasani, Senior Leader, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).

Speaking on the development, PRCI East Zone Director Prabhat Sharma said the Jamshedpur Chapter will provide new direction to the council.

He emphasized that the newly formed team will work with renewed energy to promote professional excellence and ethical communication in the field of public relations and communications across Eastern India.

Established on April 3, 2004, PRCI has been a bridge of innovation and excellence in communication.

The council serves as a common platform for visionary professionals and innovators from diverse fields, including media and journalism, public relations and corporate communication, advertising and marketing, digital and social media, event management, academia and research, government and public sector, as well as social organizations.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, PRCI today has a strong presence in 59 cities across India.
