THE JHARKHAND STORY DESK

Prayagraj, Feb 10: President Droupadi Murmu took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Monday as part of the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025.

After completing the ritual, she offered prayers at the sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

Upon her arrival in Prayagraj earlier in the day, she was welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Following the traditional reception, President Murmu also fed migratory birds at Triveni Sangam.

Maha Kumbh, the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering, began on January 13 and is drawing devotees from across the globe. It will continue until February 26, culminating on Mahashivratri.
