Wayanad, Oct 23: Priyanka Gandhi, accompanied by senior party leaders, filed her nomination for the Wayanad by-election in Kerala on Wednesday, marking her debut in electoral politics.
Among those present at the nomination filing were Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Robert Vadra, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, and several other leaders.

She submitted her nomination papers to the district collector’s office located in Kalpetta.
Before submitting her nomination, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka conducted a roadshow in Kalpetta town, Kerala, and addressed a public rally. During the event, she thanked the people of Wayanad for their support of her brother during challenging times.
The Wayanad by-election is set to take place on November 13.
