Meanwhile, the Punjab BJP questioned Rahul Gandhi’s visit, asking what measures he had taken so far to support flood victims, especially when Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, and other alliance partners are in power in eight states across the country.

The party pointed out that several Union ministers had already toured Punjab’s flood-hit areas before Rahul Gandhi’s arrival. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have also reviewed the situation. According to sources, several Union and state ministers from the BJP will continue visiting flood-affected regions of Punjab until September 21.
