Deoghar, February 3: Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will cover 13 districts in Jharkhand in two phases during the next eight days.
In the first phase of the tour, he will cover 11 districts, and in the second phase, he will cover the rest of the two districts.
After reaching Deoghar today, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh and others addressed the media in Mohanpura.
Talking to the media, he strongly advocated that the purpose of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is not to get support in elections. “Rather, it is an ideological Yatra against the ruling BJP and RSS ideology,” he maintained.

Congress gets fresh energy
He asserted that the Congress Party has got new energy and unity by organising Yatra.
Being asked about the benefit of Yatra in an upcoming election, he ruled out it categorically.
Of course, after Bharat Joro Nyay Yatra, the assembly elections resulted in two states, Karnataka and Telangana, favouring Congress, but in other states, it was not like that. “The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will bring fruits over time but not win just an election,” he claimed.
Yatra to reach Mumbai on March 20
According to Congress leader, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will reach Mumbai on March 20.
Congress MLA Pradeep Yadav said that he had never seen such a crowd as a leader in his political career of 25 years. He said that Rahul Gandhi had assured the displaced from the Adani Power plant that they would get their rights after the formation of his government.
Congress state president Rajesh Thakur also echoed Yadav. Jharkhand State in-charge of Congress, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, alleged that by using an investigating agency like ED, the central government has yet to have success in toppling the popular government led by the son of a poor family. He warned the centre that such tools backfire some time.
