Jamshedpur, Feb 4: Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw is monitoring operation of regular and special trains running from the Prayagraj region from the Railway Board’s war room.

He received complete information about train operations and issued directives to all station managers to efficiently manage passenger facilities at all stations and circulating areas in the Prayagraj region.

The Railway Minister instructed officials stationed in the war room to continuously monitor the feeds of all 1,200 cameras installed in the Prayagraj region and take necessary action as required.

“This was to ensure that passengers arriving for the Sangam bath and those returning to their respective cities and villages faced no difficulties,” said an official of the Railway Board.

The minister is also conducting an online inspection of the holding areas at stations and directed that their management should remain efficient.

He emphasized that if the number of devotees in the colour-coded holding areas increased, special Mela trains should be operated accordingly.
