Ranchi, March 25: The CBI (ACB), Ranchi, on Wednesday arrested a Railway Chief Commercial Inspector, Himanshu Shekhar, after catching him red-handed while accepting a ₹50,000 bribe.

According to the CBI, a contractor had filed a complaint stating that a ₹8.50 lakh bill was pending and the officer was demanding ₹50,000 to clear it. The accused allegedly claimed that a share of the bribe was meant for Senior DCM Suchi Singh.
