Raipur, March 6: Dr Kuldeep Solanki, a noted gastroenterologist from Raipur and President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Raipur Branch, will be honoured with the ‘Best Local Branch President’ award for his outstanding service and leadership in the medical community.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will present the award during the upcoming IMA conference scheduled on March 7.
Recognition by IMA Chhattisgarh
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Chhattisgarh unit selected Dr. Solanki for the honour in recognition of his exceptional work and leadership during his tenure as President of the Raipur branch.

A specialist in gastroenterology, Dr Solanki is known for his expertise in treating stomach, liver, and intestinal disorders and for actively promoting healthcare awareness initiatives in the region.
Major initiatives under his leadership
During his tenure, the IMA Raipur branch organised several major programmes aimed at health awareness, professional engagement and community outreach.

- IMA Grand Marathon organised to promote public health awareness
- IMA Cricket League encouraging sportsmanship and fitness among doctors
