Jaipur, July 27: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the Rajasthan government will allocate reservations for Agniveers in the recruitment process for jail and forest guards, as well as state police positions.

However, the specific percentage of reservation for Agniveers in these services was not revealed.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office on Saturday, Sharma announced a major initiative for Agniveers on Kargil Vijay Diwas (July 26).

“The Rajasthan government has made a provision of reservation in state police, jail guard and forest guard recruitments for the Agniveers who protect the country’s borders with a sense of dedication and patriotism,” the statement from Rajasthan CMO said.

The statement quoted Rajasthan CM Sharma as saying, “With this decision of the state government under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Agniveers will get an opportunity to work in the state after serving the country.”
