Jaipur, Nov 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday stated that the Congress symbolizes corruption, nepotism and appeasement, identifying these as three evils preventing India from achieving the status of a developed nation.

In a public rally in Rajasthan’s Baran district, ahead of the upcoming elections, the Prime Minister stated that Congress leaders are unruly and that the state’s people are suffering because the ruling party has turned them over to criminals, rioters and robbers.

“As long as three enemies of the country — corruption, nepotism and appeasement — are among us, it will be difficult to fulfil the resolution to make India a developed nation. The Congress is the biggest symbol of these three evils,” the PM said.

“Be it Congress MLAs or ministers, everyone is unruly and the public is suffering. The Congress has handed over the people of Rajasthan to robbers, rioters, tyrants and criminals,” he further stated.

“Today, even children in Rajasthan are saying ‘Gehlot ji, you won’t get votes’,” he added.

The Prime Minister took aim at the Congress regarding the state of law and order in Rajasthan, stating that ministers from the party have been observed standing alongside those who have committed crimes against women.

PM Modi emphasized that the top priority for the BJP is to safeguard the well-being and safety of women.

He further stated that the support from the Congress has boosted the morale of anti-social elements in Rajasthan.
