Ramgarh, Dec 22: Given the increasing cold, Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar visited various city areas late on Thursday night.
The Deputy Commissioner distributed blankets among the Birhor group in the Bijulia area under Ramgarh city and inquired about their well-being. He directed the officials to cover the group’s people with various government schemes.
After distributing blankets, he also visited the Birsa bus stand and took stock of the bonfire arrangements.

After Birsa Bus Stand, the Deputy Commissioner distributed blankets at Trekker Stand and Ranchi Road Railway Station.
Given the increasing cold, he directed the officials to ensure regular bonfire arrangements at major intersections and other crowded places.
During this, Sub-Divisional Officer Nazarat Deputy Collector, District Public Relations Officer, Block Development Officer Ramgarh, Circle Officer Ramgarh, Assistant Public Relations Officer and others were also present.
