Kamlesh Behera reiterated that the goal of this special Lok Adalat is to settle as many cases as possible related to marriage and cheque dishonour. He directed police officers to collect notices daily from the DLSA office, ensure their prompt delivery to the respective police stations, and request station in-charges to serve the notices at the earliest with police assistance. The service reports must then be submitted to the concerned courts to maximize case settlements.
Additionally, the DLSA Secretary announced a meeting with all Ranchi police station in-charges on February 5. To inform the public, posters and banners have been put up across the city.
Furthermore, Behera instructed DLSA’s Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) to spread awareness in villages, panchayats, blocks, roads, intersections, and crowded areas by distributing pamphlets and leaflets, ensuring that more people are informed about the Lok Adalat.
