New Delhi, September 5: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu on Thursday was sworn in as a Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan.
At a ceremony held in Parliament House, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar administered the oath to the newly elected MP.
Leader of House in the Rajya Sabha JP Nadda, along with Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and L Murugan, attended the oath-taking ceremony.

On August 28, Bittu was one of 12 members elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha in the elections for vacant seats. This included nine BJP candidates, two from BJP’s ally NDA , and one from Congress.
This brings the BJP’s total in the Rajya Sabha to 96 members and the Congress’s total to 27.
