New Delhi, May 28: In a significant reshuffle across multiple High Courts, the Supreme Court collegium has recommended the transfer of chief justices from Rajasthan, Tripura, Jharkhand and Madras.

The proposals were finalised during a meeting held on May 26, chaired by Chief Justice of India B R Gavai.

Among the key changes, Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava has been recommended for transfer from the Rajasthan High Court to head the Madras High Court. Meanwhile, Justice KR Shriram is set to move in the opposite direction—from the Madras High Court to the Rajasthan High Court.

The collegium has also proposed moving Justice MS Ramachandra Rao from the Jharkhand High Court to take over as Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court. Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh has been recommended for transfer from the Tripura High Court to the Telangana High Court.
Additionally, Justice Tadakamalla Vinod Kumar, currently serving in the Telangana High Court, is proposed to be shifted to the Madras High Court.
