Jamshedpur, Oct 10: South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced a detailed schedule of train cancellations, short terminations, and route curtailments due to track maintenance and foggy weather conditions between December 2025 and early 2026.

Trains Cancelled for Maintenance Work
As per the latest South Eastern Railway notification, several trains will remain cancelled from December 10, 2025, to January 7, 2026 for essential maintenance activities.

List of cancelled trains:
18602/18601 Hatia–Tata–Hatia Express
58663/58664 Hatia–Shanki–Hatia Passenger
58034/58033 Ranchi–Bokaro Steel City–Ranchi Passenger
18035/18036 Kharagpur–Ranchi–Kharagpur Express
13303/13304 Dumka–Dhanbad Express
68035/68036 Tata–Hatia–Tata MEMU
Short-Terminated and Short-Originating Trains
During the same period, several trains will operate on shorter routes.
Affected trains include:
13503/13504 Barddhaman–Hatia–Barddhaman Express (short-terminated between Bokaro and Hatia)
63598/63597 Asansol–Ranchi–Asansol MEMU and 18035/18036 Kharagpur–Ranchi–Kharagpur Express (services affected between Muri and Ranchi)
13513/13514 Asansol–Hatia–Asansol Express (short-terminated at Hatia)
These changes will remain effective from December 10, 2025, to January 8, 2026, depending on the train schedule.
Winter Fog Disruptions: Long-Distance Trains Cancelled
In view of dense fog expected in northern India, SER has announced the temporary suspension of several long-distance express trains during the winter months.
Trains cancelled due to foggy weather:
- 12873 Hatia–Anand Vihar Terminal Express (Dec 1, 2025 – Feb 26, 2026)
- 12874 Anand Vihar Terminal–Hatia Express (Dec 2, 2025 – Feb 27, 2026)
- 22857 Santragachi–Anand Vihar Terminal Express (Dec 1, 2025 – Mar 2, 2026)
- 22858 Anand Vihar Terminal–Santragachi Express (Dec 2, 2025 – Mar 3, 2026)
- 18103 Tatanagar–Amritsar Express (Dec 1, 2025 – Feb 25, 2026)
- 18104 Amritsar–Tatanagar Express (Dec 3, 2025 – Feb 27, 2026)
Advisory for Passengers
Railway authorities have urged passengers to check updated train schedules before planning their journeys to avoid inconvenience. Updates and changes will be available on the official South Eastern Railway website and at major railway stations.
