Daltonganj, May 6: Six locations in Jharkhand, including Ranchi, Bokaro, East Singhbhum, Godda, Sahebganj, and Gomio, have been designated as locations for civil defence exercises on May 7.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General of Fire Services, Civil Defence, and Home Guards, Government of India, has instructed the conduct of a mock drill on May 7 to assess and evaluate the state’s civil defence preparedness and readiness.
Although Jharkhand has 24 districts, only these six places have been selected for the civil defence exercise.
