New Delhi, August 12: Carrying forward their agitation over alleged voter list irregularities in Bihar, Opposition MPs turned their focus to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) issue in Parliament on the 17th day of the Monsoon Session.
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and party veteran Sonia Gandhi stood alongside INDIA bloc allies in the protest, which saw several members wearing white T-shirts marked with the slogan “124 Not Out.”

Leaders such as Supriya Sule, Kanimozhi, and representatives from the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) brandished onions during the demonstration.

The move followed Monday’s incident in which Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and other bloc MPs were detained by Delhi Police while marching to the Election Commission.
