Ranchi, Jan 9: The tableau for Jharkhand’s Republic Day celebrations on January 26 2025 will prominently feature the Maiyaan Samman Yojana, along with other significant themes, as announced during a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari. The Chief Secretary emphasized that the tableau must reflect the essence of Jharkhand’s identity, culture, and achievements.
The Maiyaan Samman Yojana, a flagship initiative of the state government aimed at empowering women, will be one of the central highlights of the tableau. In addition, the theme of Road Safety will also be included to spread awareness on traffic safety measures.
Three-member committee formed
To ensure the selection of creative and impactful tableaux, a three-member committee was formed during the meeting. The committee consists of Agriculture Secretary Abu Bakkar Siddiqui, Tourism Secretary Manoj Kumar, and Director of Information and Public Relations Department Rajiv Lochan Bakshi. A total of 12 to 13 tableaux from various departments will be presented during the celebrations after receiving the committee’s approval.
This year’s Republic Day parade will also feature bands and platoons from the Army, CISF, CRPF, SSV, JAP, District Force, NDRF, and the Fire Brigade. Rehearsals for the parade are scheduled to take place between 18 January and 24 January.

The Maiyaan Samman Yojana tableau is expected to showcase the scheme’s positive impact on the empowerment of women in rural and urban areas of Jharkhand. By highlighting this initiative, the government aims to inspire greater awareness and participation in the scheme.
In addition to the tableau preparations, various logistical and operational arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations are being meticulously planned. These include ensuring proper seating arrangements, traffic and parking management, cleaning of key sites, medical and fire safety measures, and the timely distribution of invitations.
The meeting, chaired by Alka Tiwari, was attended by senior officials, including Home Secretary Vandana Dadel, DGP Anurag Gupta, and other department heads. The Chief Secretary directed all officials to ensure timely and flawless execution of all arrangements to make this year’s Republic Day celebrations a success.
