Jamshedpur, Sept 20: Tata Steel UISL today announced an annual bonus of Rs 6.676 crore for its 671 eligible employees for the financial year 2024-25.

A bipartite agreement was signed on September 20 between Tata Steel UISL management and the Tata Steel Utilities and Services Shramik Union.

The settlement was formalized by Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL, and Raghunath Pandey, President, TSU&SS Union, in the presence of senior officials and union representatives.

The bonus entitlement was based on performance parameters such as profit before tax (PBT), safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, transmission and distribution loss, water accountability, and productivity.

While the agreed chart worked out to Rs 6.27 crore, the management enhanced the payout to Rs 6.67 crore in recognition of employee contributions to Swachh Survekshan, digital initiatives, and cost-saving measures.

The bonus will be disbursed shortly, coinciding with the festive season.
