Nalgonda, Nov 16: Income Tax officials carried out raids at the residence of Miryalaguda BRS MLA Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao in Telangana ahead of the upcoming Telangana assembly polls.
Raids are currently in progress at Rao’s house, workplace, and a few close associates.
Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao, the Miryalaguda BRS MLA, is a native of Shakapuram village in Nidamanoor Mandal, Nalgonda District and currently represents the Miryalaguda constituency in Telangana.
In 2014, Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao was elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Miryalaguda constituency in the newly established state of Telangana. Subsequently, in 2018, he was re-elected as the MLA for the Miryalaguda Constituency.
He served as the General Secretary of the Students Union, SR, and BGNR College during the significant first-ever Telangana Movement of 1969.
