Three held in Kairav Gandhi kidnapping case in Jamshedpur

KAIRAV GANDHI (IN THE MIDDLE)

Jamshedpur, Jan 28: Jamshedpur police achieved a breakthrough in the high-profile Kairav Gandhi kidnapping case, arresting three kidnappers during a carefully planned operation and rescuing the abducted youth unharmed.

The arrests were made when the accused were shifting Kairav Gandhi from one hideout to another. Police also seized the vehicle and weapons used in the crime.

Surveillance Led to Breakthrough

According to police sources, soon after the kidnapping, law enforcement agencies activated both technical surveillance and human intelligence networks to track the movement of the accused.

About three days ago, police received specific information regarding the kidnappers’ hideout. However, officers decided against an immediate raid due to concerns over the victim’s safety.

Strategic Patience to Ensure Victim’s Safety

Ensuring Kairav Gandhi’s safe recovery remained the top priority. Police chose to wait for the safest opportunity to act rather than risk a confrontation at the hideout.

Special teams in plain clothes were deployed to monitor the kidnappers’ movements, phone activity, vehicles, and contacts without alerting them.
