Akhnoor, Oct 29: As part of their ongoing Operation Asan, the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps successfully neutralized three terrorists in a fierce gunfight in the Akhnoor area of Jammu and Kashmir.
In an official statement, the White Knight Corps via a post on X, said, “After round the clock surveillance through out the night, an intense firefight unfolded today morning resulting in a significant victory for our forces. Relentless operations and tactical excellence has led to the elimination of three terrorists.”
“The operation also saw the successful recovery of war-like stores, marking a critical step in maintaining security in the region,” they added.

Sadly, earlier, Phantom, a Malinois dog serving with the Indian Army, was killed when terrorists fired on an Army convoy near Asan in the Sunderbani Sector.
The dog, a Belgian Malinois, was born on May 25, 2020, and joined the force on August 12, 2022.
The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps honored Phantom’s service, remarking that his “courage, loyalty, and dedication” will always be remembered.
“We salute the supreme sacrifice of our true hero—a valiant #IndianArmy Dog, #Phantom. As our troops were closing in on the trapped terrorists, #Phantom drew enemy fire, sustaining fatal injuries. His courage, loyalty, and dedication will never be forgotten”, White Knight Corps posted on X.
