Srinagar, May 15: Security forces have once again launched a major operation against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday morning, three terrorists affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed were killed in an encounter in the dense forests of Nadir village in Tral.

According to reports, security forces had received information about the presence of terrorists hiding in the forests of Nadir village in Tral, Pulwama district. Acting on the intel, a joint team of the Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched an operation.

Upon spotting the forces, the terrorists opened fire. The security personnel retaliated, killing three terrorists in the exchange of gunfire.
The operation is still underway in the area, as inputs suggest that more Jaish terrorists could be hiding nearby.
